"I am absolutely thrilled to celebrate the release of this study Bible in the heart of New York, a city I truly love, and alongside some of my very favorite contemporary Christian performers," said Dr. Jeremiah. "This promises to be a truly special evening in a truly special city celebrating a truly special book - the Word of God. I can hardly wait!"
The Jeremiah Study Bible is the magnum opus of one of the most beloved preachers in America today. The culmination of nearly five decades of exhaustive study, The Jeremiah Study Bible is replete with comprehensive introductions to each of the 66 books of the Bible, more than 8,000 study notes (with embedded cross-references) meticulously compiled by Dr. Jeremiah over the years, and hundreds of articles and sidebars designed to steep the reader in additional information and application.
"God's Word is deeply moving and powerful to me, and as I worked to produce this Bible I kept in mind three goals," Dr. Jeremiah explained. "First, I wanted to share what the Bible says. Second, I wanted to help people discover what it means. And third, I wanted to help people understand what it means for them, as individuals made in their Creator's image. That's the most important thing, because if people walk away from the Bible and they know what it says and they know what it means, but they don't know how it works in their own life, they will see no change."
The Jeremiah Study Bible is built on the New King James Version® of the Bible, Pastor Jeremiah's favorite translation and the one he preaches from every Sunday at Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, California. In addition to the introductions, notes, articles and sidebars, The Jeremiah Study Bible also features numerous charts and maps as well as geographical and archaeological information, a teacher's topical index, an 80-page-plus concordance, and online digital and multimedia resources accessible through QR codes that include additional written materials and video introductions from Dr. Jeremiah.
The Jeremiah Study Bible is published by Worthy Publishing Group and launches in five attractive styles with additional styles coming in spring 2014. It will be available wherever Christian books are sold on November 26, 2013.
